Before you come to Crossroads, below are a few points that will make your visit more pleasant and, we pray, less stressful. If you have any other questions, please feel free to give us a call, (812) 279-0131, ext 5.
As you enter the South parking lot from Trogden Lane, there is parking in the front by Highway 37 (West), the side (South) and the back (East). For your convenience visitor and handicap parking areas are located close to the entrances.
Our friendly Greeters will meet you at the door with a smile and a handshake. Feel free to ask them if you have any questions about where to go.
Our helpful Ushers can also answer many questions, get you a weekly bulletin, a visitor’s packet with useful information and help you find a comfortable seat in the auditorium.
General information and announcements that are NOT included in the bulletin will be displayed on the two large screens at the front prior to the start of the service.
A service always incorporates music, preaching, and prayer and usually last less than one and half hours. It can include special songs by the choir, trios, duets, soloists, videos, skits, puppets, communion or more. We have a general order of service, but we are alway sensitive to the move of God’s Spirit.
Our worship music is mostly contemporary mixed with some traitional hymns. Our worship leader is accompanied by a full praise band and singers. You might hear many of the songs we do on K-Love, Spirit 95.1 or MyJoy 101.1 FM radio stations. The lyrics will be displayed on the screens in the front.
Pastor Ken Ransom preaches the whole truth from the Bible using several scripture references. A sermon outline is projected for you to follow along. After the sermon, time is given for those that wish to pray at the altar.
Dedicated staff make childcare available during the service for infants and toddlers in our two fully equipped nurseries. For older children there are kids programs available during most services.
Our dress is casual to dressy. Some come in a suit and tie, while others prefer jeans and a t-shirt. We want you to feel comfortable.
