Daemon rarely went to church growing up, but at the age of 15 realized he really needed to give his life to God and at a Vacation Bible School he did just that. With a family history of preachers and singers, along with a praying grandmother and aunt, Daemon’s calling as a singer was not totally unexpected. Like Daemon, Kim went to church with her cousins, or grandmother, but at the age of 16 started attending a local church and accepted Christ into her heart. Daemon and Kim attended Eastern Greene Schools. Both having an interest in music participated in choir and dramas throughout their high school career. It wasn’t until the Spring of 1981, their senior year in high school, that they began dating. Two years later at the age of nineteen they married (May 14, 1983) and started their family in Greene County. Four years later their first daughter, Kendra, was born. Three years later, Skylar, another daughter was born. Believing that their family was complete, Daemon and Kim were surprised by the birth of their son, Keller, in 1996. [Read more]

He went to several churches to fill the pulpit, but in 1978 he was called to the Springville Community Church. After several expansion they quickly outgrew the facility. With the support of Church leaders and the congregation, they purchased land on Hwy 37. In October 1995 a new building with a new name was completed, Crossroads Church. [Read more]
