Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Infant Care (ages 1 month to 2 years) is open during all services, while Toddler Care (ages 2-3 years) is open Sunday morning only. We have classes for toddlers Sunday and Wednesday evening.

We have listed below the policies and procedures that have been established to hopefully answer any of your questions and concerns about our Infant and Toddler Care classes.

Registration:

A child must be registered in and out every time he/she is brought to the Care Classes. This registration form is located on top of the cabinet in each room. You will need to include the child’s name, your name, special instructions (allergies) and a description of their bag and/or cup. Only the person registering the child can pick him/her up, unless it is written on the registration form. Siblings under the age of twelve (12) cannot pick up infants or toddlers.

Labeling:

We ask that you label your child’s diaper bag and bottle/cup. Please include extra clothes in case of accidents as well as a plastic bag for dirty clothes.

If you have breast milk bottles, please see the nursery worker for special labels located in the cabinets. Also, make sure that preparation instructions are understood before leaving your child.

Paging System:

Each child is assigned a paging number. This number is the last 4 digits of your telephone number. The call box located in the sanctuary on the right hand corner will display your number if you are needed. Please make sure to locate the box upon entering the sanctuary.

Room & Toy Cleaning:

The Infant and Toddler Class room is cleaned on a regular basis. The floors and bathroom are sanitized on a daily basis, while the toys are cleaned and disinfected weekly. We encourage the children to be responsible and have them help pick up some of the toys themselves.
